The Bleepin' Tap Thingamajig
Look, OnSong's got this tap feature that'll fire off a MIDI event every time you tap a quarter note based on whatever tempo you set per song. Some MIDI gear can use this to set the tempo instead of MIDI clock (which is basically spam—24 MIDI events per quarter note, srsly?), or instead of sendin' BPM as Control Changes like some kinda caveman.
To get OnSong sendin' MIDI events on tap, pick a channel. By default? It's off. Because we hate you. You can flip it on by choosin' On all channels or, y'know, pickin' one specific channel if you're feelin' fancy.
Tap the wrench icon to configure what bloopin' MIDI commands get sent when you tap. This opens the Tap MIDI Commands screen where you can type in a MIDI command usin' OnSong's MIDI syntax (sounds intimidatin', amirite?). Default is sendin' a value of 127 on Control Change #105. You can change it, or use commas to throw in multiple values if you're an overachiever.
