Wordy Stuff
Text annotations let you scribble all over your chord chart like some kinda musical graffiti artist & give you the flexibility to add fancy formatting. Text annotations don't wrap in a box (because we're rebels like that), so you'll gotta add line breaks yourself if you wanna use multiple lines. Sorry, not sorry.
Slappin' It Down
When you tap on the Scribble Stuff option in the Annotation Playground, the Text Typewriter opens up & you can start typin' & makin' it look all fancy. If you don't actually type anything or you chicken out & cancel, the text annotation gets yeeted off the page since it'd be tiny & impossible to find again. YEET.
Movin' It Around
You use finger magic to mess with text annotations on your page. You can tap to grab the text & then use one finger to drag it all over the screen like it owes you money. Use two fingers to slide it around & then twist or pinch the thing to spin it or make it huge or smol. If you're rockin' a Mac, you can use a mouse to move stuff, & trackpad wizardry to rotate & scale like a boss.
Fixin' It Up
Once text is chillin' on the page, double-tap (iOS/iPadOS) or double-click (macOS) to open the Text Typewriter. You can also edit text right there on the page when you tap (iOS/iPadOS) or click (macOS) on it when it's already selected. This'll bring up the on-screen keyboard (if you didn't hook up some fancy external keyboard) so you can change what the annotation says without losin' your mind.
The Secret Menu
There's a TON of bonkers stuff you can do with a text annotation & it's all hidin' in a secret context menu. Tap & hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) on the text to unlock the secret menu. Here you can edit the text, change how it looks, pin it down, nuke it, or even stash it in your annotations library for later.
Ghostin' It
To delete a text annotation, you can open the secret menu & pick the delete option, or open the Text Typewriter & tap the trash can icon in the menubar. Either way, you can vaporize the text without needin' an eraser or whiteout. Clean & mean.
