Snip Vibe
While slappin' a cropped image on a virtual page is, like, totally a game-changer, you can also gussy it up to look less janky. Buckle up, peeps — here's the tea! ☕
Snazzy Background Color
So you imported an image with that boring white paper vibe & a dark foreground (relatable, honestly). Pick a background color for your clip's bkg — think sticky note energy, y'know? Wanna go full ghost mode? Swipe right & grab the transparent color. You got OPTIONS: white, yellow (the default™ because we make decisions for you), orange, green, blue, purple, pink, grey, or clear. Feelin' spicy? Add & customize your own colors in the note paper color palette using the color picker thingy.
Tint Color (aka "Make It Pop")
Rockin' a dark graphic on a white background? This bad boy adjusts the foreground color of your clip. It's basically the text color for sticky notes, but make it fashion. Choose from black, red, blue, green, light blue, purple or grey. Wanna get weird? Customize colors in the text color palette using the color picker.
Opacity (aka "Ghostify It")
Okay so sometimes your clips are being total divas & overlapping chord charts. No worries — just dial down the opacity & let that chart shine through like the star it is. Drag the opacity slider around. Default? 100% opaque (solid as your commitment issues).
Rotation (aka "Tilt Mode: Activated")
Clips drop square on the page like they own the place. Want it to pop or fit better around your chord chart? Slide left & right to spin that note up to 45° each way. Feel like gettin' artsy? Use two fingers in song viewer & rotate it manually, artiste.
Scale (aka "Make It Fit, Bestie")
OnSong scales images relative to page width — we literally won't let them break things (you're welcome). Make clips bigger or smaller with the scale slider. Anywhere from 50% to 150% of normal size, no pressure. Feelin' hands-on? Pinch with two fingers in song viewer to resize. TOTES doable.
Shadow (aka "Drama Lighting")
Adjust the shadow opacity slider under your sticky note & watch the magic happen. Pick a transparent background? Shadow auto-zeros itself. You're welcome.
Tap & drag anywhere on the sliders to adjust. Tap the left or right edge to baby-step it into perfection.
