Yo. Wanna boss around your backing tracks like you actually know what you're doin'? Here's your power moves for play, pan, & volume. You're welcome.

Play/Pause/Stop Shenanigans

Makes your backing track do what you tell it to do (revolutionary, we know).

• Play — Kicks off the backing track that's glued to whatever song you're starin' at right now.
• Pause — Hits the brakes on your backing track so you can catch your breath & resume later like nothin' happened.
• Stop — Murders the audio & rewinds it back to the beginning because apparently you need a do-over.
• Scrub — Some fancy MIDI juju that lets you slide around the track like you're actually a professional. Spoiler: you're not, but we believe in you.
• Toggle — Bounces between play, pause & stop based on whatever audio vibe you set up. It's like magic, except it's just code.

Pan That Track (Left, Right, Center-ish)

Shove your backing track wherever in the stereo field your heart desires.

• Adjust — Smoothly slides the track from 100% left to 100% right & every boring spot in between, so you can pretend you're a sound engineer.
• Left — Yeets the whole thing to the left speaker because apparently you hate your right ear.
• Center — Parks it dead center like a responsible human with functional stereo speakers.
• Right — Blasts it to the right side so you can ignore the left speaker with dignity.

Volume Control (aka "Turn It Up, Turn It Down")

Cranks or kills your backing track's volume between silence & "why is this so loud?"

• Adjust — Smoothly wiggles the volume between 0 & 100% so you can find that sweet spot (or crash & burn tryin').
• Increase — Bumps the volume up by 6.25% at a time because apparently large increments are too mainstream.
• Decrease — Quietly lowers the volume by 6.25% in case you wanna be all zen about it.

Heads up: Panning only works on tracks played through the OnSong audio player. If you're usin' Apple Music, Spotify, or whatever DRM'd streaming nonsense is playin' through the Music app, tough luck — no panning for you. Sorry, not sorry.
