Huntin' for Pages (This Better Work...)

The dang Document Scanner takes over your entire screen & uses your camera in some fancy-pants augmented reality thing to grab pages. Here's how to not totally botch it.

Nailed It™ Tips

Wanna actually get decent scans instead of blurry garbage? Read this.

  1. Make sure your case or cover ain't blockin' the camera like some kinda jerk.
  2. Slap your paper on somethin' flat—a table, the floor, a music stand, whatever ain't a beach ball.
  3. Keep that paper flat as a pancake so the system don't have a meltdown tryna fix your perspective warping nonsense.
  4. Throw some light at it so the paper & text actually look different from each other (wild concept, we know).
  5. Play with the other controls on the left to tweak the image using flash, mode & shutter. You're welcome.

Snappin' That Page

As you move the camera around, the computer vision magic will spot rectangles in the scene. If it thinks one's actually paper & not your cat, the scanner goes click automatically. You can also just tap the camera button at the bottom or side of the screen if you wanna be all manual about it.

Like, SO Many Pages

As you grab pages, they'll show up in the bottom bar thingy at the bottom of the screen. Flip through multiple pages for one song like you're actually organized. You can always go back & mess with 'em later.
