Grid Shenanigans
The page layout menu lets you mess with the paper size & dimensions you're about to print on. Buckle up, peeps — here's where it gets spicy:
Gimme That Paper Angle
This is literally just which way your paper faces & includes these mind-blowin' choices:
- Portrait = tall & skinny. Your default jam.
- Landscape = wide & chubby.
Paper Size (AKA "How Big is Your Sheet?")
The standard size of the paper you're about to print on. The default? Whatever the nerds coded into settings for on-screen renderin'. Options:
- Letter (8.5" x 11") - The OG Default
- Legal (8.5" x 14") - For when you're feelin' extra legal-y
- Tabloid (11" x 17") - Go BIG or go home
- A5 (148mm x 210mm) - Smol & European
- A4 (210mm x 297mm) - The Euro fave
- A3 (297mm x 420mm) - Absolute UNIT
Those Annoying White Borders (AKA Margins)
You can tweak the top, left, bottom & right margins individually because apparently you hate printers. Margins yeet to whatever defaults are locked in settings for on-screen magic. Your options:
- 0" - LIVE DANGEROUSLY
- 1/8"
- 1/4"
- 3/8"
- 1/2"
- 5/8"
- 3/4" - The Safe Pick™
- 7/8"
- 1"
- 1-1/8"
- 1-1/4"
- 1-3/8"
- 1-1/2" - Go big on the white space, king
