Sortie by Vibe Check
Topics in OnSong are basically saved searches, but like… way cooler (we think). You can create a topic to hunt through your song content & titles like you're searching for buried treasure. Tap the Topics attribute from the drawer to boss around topics & segment your songs into organized little buckets.
Addin' Topics
Wanna make a topic? Tap the + button in the lower right corner & BAM — New Topic Screen opens up. Type your topic name & congrats, you've basically invented a filing system. Topics don't auto-add (you're welcome), so your list stays lean & mean.
Peepin' Songs
Once you've added a topic, tap it to scope out songs that have that phrase hidin' in 'em.
Arrangin' Topics
Topics sort alphabetically by default — boring, we know. Tap the sort button in the lower right to shuffle 'em into a custom order that actually makes sense. Wanna rearrange? Tap Edit in the upper right, drag those topics around using the reorder handles on the right, & tap Done to lock it in.
Makin' Topics Less Awful
Look. OnSong tries real hard to make topics not suck. But searchin' a song's guts for a random keyword? Yeah, that can be kinda hit-or-miss. You might wanna find songs by genre, vibe, mood, emotion, or literally anything else under the sun.
Level up your topics by droppin' keywords into the Metadata Editor in the Song Editor. If you tag a song with specific keywords there, OnSong will only hunt those for that song — way more accurate. Plus you can add stuff that doesn't even show up in the actual lyrics. Revolutionary, right?
