Tunes You Forgot About (But Your iPhone Remembers)

The media library tab displays images & videos chillin' in your local OnSong library. From this screen you can import images & video from your photo library, pick media for lyriken-projektion, & manage your digital hoarding.

Importin' the Goods

You can import images or videos either from files stashed in Dropbox, Google Drive, iTunes File Sharing or Files, or from the photo library on your device. (Yeah, we know that's a lot of places. We're sorry.)

• Import Files from iTunes File Sharing, Dropbox or whatever storage provider you're into by tappin' on the + button in the upper right corner to pick an import source. (Spoiler: it's gonna take forever.)

• Import from Photo Library by tappin' on the camera icon in the upper right-hand corner to browse your photo library like you've got nothin' better to do. Pick an image or video to be added into your OnSong media library. You can then select the media as the background or manage the media asset like the digital hoarder you are. Newly imported assets appear with a banner in the upper right corner of the graphic screamin' "LOOK AT ME!" In addition, motion backgrounds appear with a small white triangle in the lower right to indicate that the asset is playable. (Shocking, we know.)

Pickin' Media

If you have opened this screen from the External Video Menu, you can display the background image or video by tappin' on it in the grid of preview images. This will place a border around the image that is currently active. Tap again to turn off the selected background & pretend you never wanted it anyway.

Editin' Media Deets

If you've opened this screen from the Editors Menu, you can tap on the thumbnail to open the Media Details menu. If you've opened the screen to pick an image or video, you can tap & hold on the thumbnail to display a menu where you can choose Edit Details to view & edit the media like you actually know what you're doin'.

Motion backgrounds are video files that typically repeat continuously at 100% playback speed & omit audio. (It's like a GIF, but fancy.) You can change the parameters for playback by tappin' & holdin' the preview thumbnail. This will display a menu to perform the View Details function. Tappin' on this option will open the Media Details menu that allows you to change these playback attributes & feel like a pro.

Deletin' Media

To delete the media asset, tap & hold on the preview. This will display a popover to perform the delete function. Tappin' on the delete option will remove the media asset from your library & free up space for more stuff you probably don't need.
